How often should I have my chimney swept?
Have your chimney inspected once a year and swept whenever creosote reaches about ⅛ inch — typically once a year for regular wood-burners. NFPA 211 calls for an annual inspection even if you rarely use the fireplace.
What does a chimney sweep cost in St. Charles?
